Beach Erosion
Due to massive shingle erosion along the riverside, Bawdsey Haven Yacht Club has made urgent emergency temporary repairs to the river bank and groynes by the entrance to its boat yard and has now set up a fundraising initiative to support further work.

Annual BBQ & Race
The BHYC annual summer BBQ and friendly race was a great success this year. Sunny weather and moderate winds greeted the 14 boats that entered the race up to the Rocks and back and a record number of people enjoyed the BBQ. Thanks, as always, to all who organised the day.

Bawdsey Fete
BHYC will have a table at the Bawdsey Fete. We will have a dinghy there and knot tying for kids and adults (with sweets for those who get them right!!)
